Rubber moldings are produced from rubber and other various compounding agents through the processes of batching, mixing, semi-finished product manufacturing, vulcanization and finishing.
The main processes of the rubber molding production process are as follows:
First, the ingredients, the variety of raw materials involved, the raw materials used in different types of rubber vary widely. Therefore, it must be sorted and carefully weighed and checked.
The second is the manufacture of rubber compound, which requires uniform dispersion, stable performance and good process performance. Some high-precision rubber compound compounds are also filtered.
The third is semi-finished product manufacturing. For the general molding vulcanization method, the semi-finished product (shape and quality) required to be manufactured is accurate, the mold loading speed is fast, and the vulcanized product has a thin edge. It should be manufactured with precision preforming equipment whenever possible. For the injection molding vulcanization method, although it is not necessary to manufacture a semi-finished product, it is also required to have a good fluidity. For some composite rubber seals with embedded skeletons, various skeleton materials should be surface treated, including selecting a suitable adhesive for coating.
The fourth is vulcanization. It adopts high-temperature short-time, multi-cavity, large-plate mold and torn edge mold to continuously improve production efficiency and have economic benefits. The fifth is trimming, using mechanized and semi-automatic edge removal and assembly to ensure product accuracy and dimensional tolerances.
